Description Mission Statement: Individual contributor to support the management of the Australia and New Zealand Organization's Real Estate Portfolio. RE activities including site location and acquisition, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, facility management.
Your responsibilities: You will arrange or assist with arranging the purchase or construction of facilities and/or negotiating the leases & services of facilities. With the support of the indirect purchase department, you will manage the utilities, facility, and maintenance contracts.You must ensure proper documentation of lease or purchase transactions.You will monitor key KPIs (occupancy costs, budget, project, etc.) for the Real Estate function.You will frequently visit different locations and support facility management for the Business Units on a daily basis.You will be responsible for planning regarding site locations and availability, making recommendations as appropriate for the disposal of properties.You will prepare reports and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.You will lead, drive, and practice the highest standards of health, safety, and environment to ensure a safe working environment, ensuring all necessary safety control measures are undertaken to mitigate and eliminate hazards/risks.Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background: Bachelor's degree in real estate, facility management, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years in real estate management or a similar role.Experience managing industrial property is an advantage.Strong background in project management, lease negotiation, and facility maintenance management.Strong interpersonal skills required to achieve cooperation, negotiate, and reach agreements with stakeholders, sub-contractors, and suppliers.Ability to lead and manage concurrent priorities.Positive attitude, results-oriented, and possesses influencing capabilities.Collaborative, dynamic, and able to adapt to change.Computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and SAP.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail.
