Role
Working as an Analyst in the Unlisted Property team, your role is to provide analytical and operational support to the Unlisted Property team in the development of the Agency’s Unlisted Property strategy, reporting and the implementation and ongoing management of the Agency’s Unlisted Property portfolio in accordance with the strategy.
The role requires an understanding of and keen interest in the property sectors and in the establishment and management of a portfolio of investments in this area.
Key Tasks in supporting the Unlisted Property team in implementing and managing the property portfolio include:
Taking responsibility for the Unlisted Property team’s portfolio data and analytics, liaising with various teams inside and outside the Agency.
Contributing to the delivery of high quality investment papers, research outputs and portfolio information.
Assisting with the evaluation of new and existing investment opportunities, including:
construction and evaluation of analytical financial models for specific investments;
due diligence processes including briefing and monitoring external due diligence advisers;
drafting Board papers for property matters.
Assist in managing select property investments
Assist in building enduring relationships with investment managers, advisors, investors and other strategic partners.
Person
Skills and Competencies Qualifications:
A tertiary education, with a degree in Property or related discipline preferred.
Experience:
An understanding of and interest in property investments, strategies and portfolio management, or a willingness to learn.
An understanding of and interest in macro-economic factors and markets.
An understanding of investment risks and returns across investment markets, an appreciation of "whole of fund" issues in portfolio construction and the role of private market investments in a portfolio.
Demonstrated ability in building analytical financial models in Excel.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
