We're seeking individuals who are: Heavy Diesel Mechanics with 3+ years of relevant experience post trade. Holders of Recognized Australian Trade Certificates-Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant Technology AUR31220 or equivalent. Experienced with OEMs like Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr & CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel. Committed to safety, quality, and best practices. What you need: 3+ years of relevant experience post trade. Australian Trade certificate is needed. Australian C class driver's license. Great understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics. Job description: Installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles, equipment and associated control devices. Differentiate between unserviceable parts and components that are able to be reused without the likelihood of premature failure. Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications. Service and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and the electrical and electronic systems in heavy equipment. Use computers to seek service and parts information and download information from on-board computers in heavy machinery. Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, such as excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, scrapers, motor graders, pipe layers, road rollers, paving products, underground machines, skid steer loaders, backhoes, compactors, forklifts and on-highway trucks. Diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines used in power generation, and light vehicles. Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using gauges, instruments and laptop computers that check machine electrical and electronic circuitry, fuel injection systems, hydraulic systems, engine speed control, engine condition and performance.
