Technology RequirementJob Type: PermanentExperience: 5 yearsPositions: 3Location: Lucknow, IndiaWe're looking for a mid experienced (1-5 years) Frontend Developer to serve on multidisciplinary project teams with an active contribution in value of iterative development and user-centered design. You'll also serve as an expert and educator in your discipline, establishing new practices that can work across departments and providing guidance and training for other fellows and staff. Contribute to our Software projects using Github for collaboration and code review. For a flavor of our current stack, we maintain projects that use React (Redux knowledge is mandatory and good to have Node.JS, GraphQL and RxJS). Serve as a core contributor on multi-disciplinary project teams to improve our products. Assist in scoping and prototyping activities for future design and development projects. Be visible to staff and stakeholders and regularly undertake activities to engage and build trust with people involved in area of work. Engage with the wider web development community, identifying best practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.Requirements1 to 5 years of professional experience developing large-scale interfaces, experiences, and applicationsDetailed understanding of and experience building user-side web interfaces and applications using modern JavaScript frameworks Ex: React.js, web standards, and open source softwareWilling to code (or at least pair) on backend data modeling and business logicAbility to engage with a wide range of digital specialists and stakeholders to define the best approaches to a problemAbility to quickly become familiar with emerging technologies and practicesStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelThorough understanding of React.js and its core principlesPrimary focus will be to build interfaces and components following well-known React.js workflows (like Flux or Redux)Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future usageA passion for product development and a commitment to doing the hard work that's necessary to improve our city services
