Client & Location Information:Pharmacist in Charge role in a central Queensland community pharmacy where there is a large network of other health professionals. Job Specification:As the Pharmacist in Charge, you'll oversee dispensary operations, provide professional services such as MedsChecks, clinical interventions, Webster pack checking, and work collaboratively with a second pharmacist during weekdays.
Proposed Roster: Sunday to Thursday (negotiable), with the possibility of every second Thursday off for a three-day weekend.
Dispense System: Dispense Works.
Team Structure: 2 Dispense Technicians, an intern, and a rostered second pharmacist (Monday to Friday). Sole pharmacist duties on Sundays only.
Professional Services: Vaccinations, cannabis dispensing (15-20 patients), and Suboxone for 1-2 patients.
Skills Required:Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Confidence in working as the sole pharmacist when required.
Vaccination accreditation (preferred but not essential).
Experience with Suboxone or medicinal cannabis (advantageous but not mandatory).
Salary & Benefits:Hourly Rate: $50-$60/hr + super Monday to Friday plus weekend rates (commensurate with experience).
Accommodation Assistance: $150 per week.
Professional Development: $1000 annual CPD funding (pro rata).
Two paid CPD days (16 hours) per year (pro rata).
