What we are looking for: Due to internal movements, we are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join our Revenue and Rates team.
You'll play a critical role in supporting our Property and Rating policy and legislative compliance.
What your day will look like: Contacting ratepayers with overdue ratesAssisting in the development of Council's Debt Recovery PolicyWorking closely with external agenciesCoordinating the processing of financial hardship applicationsProviding an excellent level of customer serviceQualifications: You'll have proven experience in a similar debt collection position, ideally with an understanding of local government legislation.
Strong communication and engagement skills will set you up for success.
