As a ranger you will plan for, and deliver in park services across the Sandbelt Parklands, Braeside and Karkarook park.
On a day-to-day basis the tasks are in accordance to duties described in the Services Catalogue and the District Action Plan ranging from asset maintenance, habitat restoration, invasive species management, contractor inductions and supervision, project and community stakeholder management and supporting emergency response.
You will be offered training, learning and development opportunities to deliver a level of environmental and service expertise, as well as being supported by Parks Victoria to obtain any qualifications and tickets required to undertake specific tasks and roles.

We have a small and adaptable team who work together to achieve continuous improvement of our parks, delivering a high standard of visitor experience and work in safety focused work environment.
We're looking for someone with: * Plant and equipment operation tickets and/or experience, Chainsaw, Front end loader, skid steer, ACUP.
* Demonstrated practical skills in the ground's maintenance and use of tools, small plant and equipment.
