This is a unique opportunity to manage the financial and corporate performance of a portfolio valued at over $240 million , driving operational excellence and innovation across diverse assets.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, overseeing compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with the organisation's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Deliver seamless financial reporting, reconciliations, and cost management processes. Leadership: Guide and develop remote asset managers and internal finance teams, fostering engagement and performance. Compliance: Oversee tax obligations, audits, treasury functions, and insurance compliance. Innovation: Utilise cutting-edge tools like AgWorld and PowerBI to enhance financial operations. Strategic Reporting: Prepare board reports, business cases, and investor updates with accuracy and clarity. Operational Support: Work closely with asset managers to unpack key financial drivers and create opportunities to outperform. Impact Practices: Contribute to initiatives in regenerative agriculture and digital transformation to deliver superior returns. What Success Looks Like Meeting revenue and EBITDA targets. Timely and accurate financial reporting that provides transparency and drives decision-making. Maintaining high team engagement and a collaborative culture. Driving continuous improvement through innovation in financial and operational practices. Skills and Experience CPA/CA qualification with 7+ years of experience managing financials across diverse agricultural or asset portfolios. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a focus on delivering insights and driving outcomes. Experience with financial systems and reporting tools, including MYOB and PowerBI.
