Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established and rapidly growing organizations, my client is looking for a number of experienced Accounts Payable Officers to join their growing team, due to their remarkable track record and growth in their business based in West Sydney. This is a 6-month temporary to permanent full-time position for the right candidate who is eager to grow in their career and within the accounting industry. There is a potential to go permanent.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager who is nurturing and encourages professional growth to aid in your career progression, your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:

Daily claim payments (downloading, uploading and coordinating) Daily OPEX payments (employee reimbursements, supplier account allocations) Managing expense portal Coordination with suppliers as and when required Liaising with vendors or any parties - any change of bank account details Closing AP - end of month Providing accruals to Financial Accountant Ensuring AP clearing account has NIL balance Ensure no entries are unposted during End of Month Managing trial balance of AP aging - ensuring AP subledger ties with GL balance AMEX reconciliations Assist Finance with due diligence for any acquisitions Assist with any ad hoc projects and other AP related tasks
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within end-to-end Accounts Payable and some exposure to accounting duties with an Accounting background. You will also bring:
Diploma/Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or related work experience Prior experience of end-to-end AP functions (2+ years) Exposure working with SAP (not mandatory, other ERP systems are welcomed) Prior experience within Commercial industries Ability to work autonomously and handle work with accountability High attention to detail Intermediate Excel proficiency Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
