Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation (RHRF) is seeking a part time Finance Manager who is an experienced and motivated accounting professional. The successful individual will lead the financial functions for RHRF, overseeing all transactional processes, with particular focus on accounts payable and receivable functions. The role will be responsible for the review and improvement of all financial processes in relation to the Foundation and will be expected to develop and maintain regular financial reporting, as well as the preparation of annual financial statements.

Key responsibilities include: Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including debtor follow up and cash collection; Preparation of monthly and year end journals in SAP; Preparation of monthly financial reports and yearly financial statements; Process improvement and identification of areas for improvement in financial processes within RHRF; In conjunction with the RHRF CEO manage the RHRF Risk and Audit Committee, including preparation of papers and execution of key action items. To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience: Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP ERP software A clear and demonstrated knowledge of Financial Accounting practices and ability to prepare profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal including ability to prepare reports for senior executives Solid leadership and emotional intelligence with proven ability to engage others and work as part of a team Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously within a small team Creative thinking and ability to problem solve Benefits Professional Advancement: Recognition and Professional Development. This grant has led to the establishment of key research projects and a robust set of research programs over the past seven years with a focus on mental health, cancer, cardiology, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation research.
