Radiographer Dubbo Health Service About The Role Are you looking for a job that is more than just getting paid?
Would you like to spend your day helping people in your community when they most desperately need it?
This position may be what you are looking for.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated radiographer to join our team in medical imaging at Dubbo Hospital.
We are a busy department, offering a range of modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Cardiac Cath Lab.
Being a trauma accredited hospital, and a major referral centre for most of north-west NSW, the types of presentations make for challenging, interesting, and meaningful work.
While the position is based in Dubbo, we are part of a larger network, providing imaging services to surrounding hospitals, which gives staff the opportunity to also work at facilities in other western NSW towns.
The role will involve progressing through training in theatres, fluoroscopy, Cath Lab, and CT, and when ready, involvement in a 24 hour rotating roster.
Professional development is accessible and well supported.
We have established regular education sessions and provide resources across a variety of platforms.
Support is also available for attendance at external courses and conferences.
Of course, we are looking for applicable experience and skillset, and this will be an advantage for applicants, but our selection process will also focus on personal qualities, work ethic and alignment with our CORE values, so we also encourage new graduates to apply.
