Ross is seeking a qualified and experienced R&D Chemist to join their team in a permanent full-time position.
Located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Role The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Research & Development Manager.
They are expected to work creatively, productively and maintain high quality standards throughout their day-to-day work.
Reporting to the R&D Manager, the key duties and responsibilities will be:
Formulate existing and new products in a timely manner, with quality and budget in mind Produce formula samples in the laboratory following GLP Perform experimental testing and trials on new formulations Provide manufacturing and upscale assistance and support Conduct stability testing Communicate the status of new product development to the R&D Manager Develop and maintain Master Formulas and prepare related documents and records Initiate change controls and deviations when required Provide requested customer samples to meet customer deadlines Undertake in-house SPF, water resistance and photo-stability testing Stay up to date with latest innovation with products and raw materials Personal Attributes, Qualifications & Relevant Experience To succeed in this role, you will possess:
BSc in Pharmaceutical / Formulation Science / Chemistry Previous experience within the pharmaceutical / personal care manufacturing or related environment Excellent problem solving and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated project management skills Proven experience working within a GMP / GLP quality environment Positive, proactive, professional attitude A desire to grow with this company Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
