The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech currently has an exciting new position, located near Didcot.
This is an opportunity to work on a mixed fleet of NHS and local authority vehicles.
This is an ongoing temporary contract with the option of a permanent contract for the right individuals.
This is a days role and can be PAYE, UMBRELLA OR LTD.
We are looking for Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background.
You will be an apprentice-trained, fully qualified Technician that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles.
ROLE Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installationSetting and operating of machine tools and equipmentDepartment of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if approved tester)Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated detailsUse of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiencySkills & Experience Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualificationAbility to work autonomouslyAbility to work within given time framesAbility to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing.HGV Class 1 or 2 is desirableQuestech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the road transport industry, focused on supporting many clients within the truck and bus sectors across the UK.
