The Gladstone Emergency Department is a 24-hour public department providing initial treatment for all, definitive care for many, and resuscitation and stabilisation of emergencies or unwell patients prior to transfer to tertiary centres or admission to Gladstone Hospital. The Emergency Department provides care across the lifespan and is commissioning a dedicated paediatric zone in the near future.
It is the purpose of this role to demonstrate nursing competence in the provision of nursing care to inpatients and outpatients whilst in the department.Undertake delegated and delegate activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.The purpose of the role of Registered Nurse for Central Queensland Health is to provide holistic person-centred care and practice within an interdisciplinary team environment.About you:Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.Knowledge of legal and professional responsibilities for contemporary nursing models of care.Proven ability to critically think in relation to planning and responding to a potentially rapidly changing environment regarding safe patient centred care.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $121,106 p.a. is comprised of:
