In the role of Systems Coordinator, you will provide support to Project Managers in relation to Business Systems and coordinate the implementation of uniform systems/initiatives and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of these systems. You will be the point of contact for safety, environment, and quality related issues at the local operational level. In this dynamic role, some of your responsibilities will include: Ensure the uniform implementation of various systems, including but not limited to Highway 21, Environment, Quality and Safety and ensure they comply with standards e.g. systems review and project audits and inspections. Manage the continuous improvement of operational systems across the Operations Centre. Monitor operational processes for compliance with standards for example, systems review and project audits and inspections. Provide advice and operational assistance to Project Managers, and staff on systems issues e.g., the preparation of various project plans. Actively lead mentoring of all team members on operational systems compliance matters. Report to management on implementation progress and system performance. Mandatory qualifications and conditions: Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent. Criminal history screening will be conducted on the recommended person for the role. A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel. Desirable qualifications and conditions: It is highly desirable but not essential for applicants to be certified, or have equivalent qualifications, or experience in the following areas: Internal Auditing (Certificate in Internal Auditor Training, Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems and/or Auditing a Quality Management System).
