About the role Assist the assessment team in the receiving and assessment of complex and sensitive complaint and information from employees and stakeholders to determine whether it amounts to suspected corrupt conduct or a public interest disclosure.
Undertake high level investigations into complaints of corrupt conduct and misconduct within Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Provide high level authoritative advice and support to Metro North on the assessment and management of complex and sensitive complaints, public interest disclosures and associated enquiries.
Prepare and deliver education programs and liaison activities aimed at increasing the awareness of public officials in relation to public sector ethics, corrupt conduct and public interest disclosures reporting and management.
Maintain high level knowledge of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010, Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011, other relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Conduct high level, complex and sensitive investigations of suspected corrupt conduct, which may include investigations into the commercial activities of Metro North and/or public interest disclosures.
Ensure the investigative service provided to Metro North is of a high quality and in compliance with necessary requirements.
Assist in the identification of system improvement requirements within Metro North Hospital and Health Service and report on these matters to the Director via reports or the relevant databases.
