Role Details : The Dysart Hospital is seeking applications for a Grounds and Maintenance Person to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your Opportunity : The Operational and Administration services team at Dysart is a close-knit group made up of 7 permanent part-time roles.
We are looking for new team members who will bring the culture and live the values of the Mackay HHS.
Being a rural facility, we often face challenges unique to our area and we are looking for someone who is able to innovate and problem-solve within our policies and procedures to achieve the tasks.
About the Team : Dysart Hospital is a 9-bed facility with a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, palliative care, respite care, and management of telehealth conferencing.
The scope of the hospital includes the Dysart and Middlemount Community Health centres which provide antenatal support, health promotion, specialist visits, and school health support.
About Our Hospital and Health Service : Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
The district covers an area of approximately 90,000 km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
