This flexible, full-time, temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled data professional to contribute to QLeave's success by delivering high-quality data analytics, insights, and reporting to support organisational improvement.
About QLeave QLeave is a statutory body responsible for administering a portable long service leave scheme for eligible workers in the building and construction, contract cleaning, and community services industries. Operating under a robust governance framework, QLeave manages over $1.5 billion in funds and is committed to ensuring that workers receive the benefits they have earned.
About The Roles As a Data Analyst , you will play a vital role in supporting QLeave's data-driven decision-making and process improvement. Working closely with the Team Leader, Data and Analytics , you will collect, analyse, and report on data that supports the development and enhancement of QLeave's information systems, processes, and business strategies.
Your Responsibilities In this role, you will:
Collect, collate, and analyse performance measurement information to support QLeave's business units and officers. Support process improvements by assisting with the development and implementation of data policies, automated collection systems, and business intelligence solutions. Develop reports, briefings, and submissions on complex performance issues, monitoring and benchmarking performance data. Provide data-driven insights through dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and business intelligence solutions to enhance QLeave's operations. Liaise with internal teams to understand user needs, promote data sharing opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to and facilitate the execution of data governance and data management strategies for the organisation's data assets. We are looking for a data-driven problem solver who can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Proficiency in Power BI and a sound understanding of business analysis, with experience delivering insights and recommendations for process improvements. Experience in statistical analysis, benchmarking, and reporting procedures. Strong understanding of platforms like D365, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Databases, AWS Quicksight, Azure Data Factory, T-SQL, Python, and machine learning concepts. Experience using dashboards and ad-hoc reporting tools to measure performance against key indicators. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and support data sharing initiatives. Ability to analyse and define process improvements and identify opportunities to optimise operational efficiency. Conditions And Benefits Convenient Northgate location with free on-site parking.
