Join QBuild for an exciting career opportunity as a Perm Contracts Officer to provide a high level of administrative support to QBuild.
QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About The Role You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administrative support. This role has a flexible working location within SEQ.
Duties And Skills Involved Assist in the coordination, development, preparation and delivery of service maintenance contracts. Assist in providing advice and training to departmental staff and management to ensure the application of quality contract administration, practices, policies and procedures necessary for the effective administration and management of contracts by Regional Offices. Together with nominated regional officers, undertake Client and Contractor operational awareness and feedback sessions aimed at ensuring the effective management and delivery of service maintenance contracts. Work with the stakeholders to ensure innovative and commercially viable Service Maintenance Contracts which provide value outcomes to Clients, are developed and implemented uniformly throughout the department. Undertake the role of Superintendent's Representative as required. Additional Requirements (mandatory/desirable) All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
