An exciting opportunity exists with the Central Queensland Education Services Team for the position of Assistant Regional Representative School Sport Officer (ARRSSO). As the ARRSSO, you will, in conjunction with the Regional Representative School Sport Officer (RRSSO), be the regional consultant and point of contact to assist in the provision of quality representative school sport programs to all state school students enrolled in affiliated schools within the respective school sport region. You will assist the RRSSO in the conduct of representative school sport programs within the region, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. The day-to-day line support of the position rests with the Director, Education Services.
Expressions of Interest are sought for the ARRSSO position within the Central Queensland Education Services Team. The period for this appointment is temporary, from 20 January 2025 to 5 December 2025, unless otherwise determined. The regional office position location can be based at any of the five Central Queensland regional offices: Emerald, Gladstone, Longreach, Mackay, or Rockhampton.

Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
