Ensure the quarry operates in full compliance with the mining and quarry legislative and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and achieve budgeted production costs and KPIs.
Demonstrate highly effective leadership skills to create a motivated team that is all working towards the same goal.
Utilise your initiative and critical thinking skills to identify and solve issues as they arise.
Possess high levels of resilience and determination to achieve successful outcomes.
Manage the maintenance program of all site machinery.
ABOUT YOU We are seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor with a can-do, flexible attitude and excellent personal and leadership skills, as well as the following: Must hold the S1,2,3 Supervisors Certificate, the Construction White Card, and a current QLD Driver's Licence.
Must hold or be willing to obtain Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations.
Must hold RII competencies for a variety of heavy machinery.
Proven experience in production specifications: QLD TMR, Aurizon ballast, cover aggregates, concrete aggregates, asphalt aggregates.
Demonstrated experience working alongside the SSE and providing support whilst working under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in engaging with staff across multiple departments and sites to achieve business goals and identify opportunities for improvement.
Australian citizen or right to work in Australia.
