The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quantity takeoffs and measurements using the CostX system, ensuring precision and efficiency in all project estimates.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and measurements for various steel fabrication projects using the CostX system.Collaborate with the steel team to ensure accurate and timely completion of takeoff tasks.Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify and quantify materials required.Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates based on takeoffs and measurements.Maintain and update records of takeoff data and project estimates.Participate in project meetings to discuss takeoff progress and address any discrepancies.Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.Qualifications:Experience with Costex or similar takeoff and measurement software is preferred.Strong analytical and mathematical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and calculations.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Preferred Skills:Previous experience in steel fabrication or construction estimating.Knowledge of industry standards and practices in steel fabrication.ShoreXtra PerksFree barista-style coffeeFree parking and jeepney servicesHighly engaged teamUnlimited potential for growthChallenging roleFun and family-oriented working environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
