Job Description
We are seeking a select group of highly talented interns to join our team in the development of advanced quantitative research for financial markets. Interns will apply sophisticated and complex statistical techniques to analyse market data and identify trends. You will work in small, highly collaborative teams, contributing to cutting-edge financial research projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise trading strategies, develop and continuously improve upon mathematical models, and help translate algorithms into code Back test and implement trading models and signals in a live trading environment Use unconventional data sources to drive innovation Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetisation systems for trading signals
Requirements
Undergraduate or PhD graduate candidates in computer science or engineering Strong knowledge of probability and statistics (e.g., machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, NLP) Prior experience working in a data driven research environment Experience with translating mathematical models and algorithms into code (Python) Clear, concise, and proactive communicator Detail-oriented Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team Opportunities available remotely or via our physical offices in New York, London, and Melbourne
