This position leads admin assistance functions of the organisation including Regulatory Compliance, Workplace Health and Safety and Quality.
This position supports quality service provision to the clients of Community Lifestyles Agency Inc by fostering and leading a culture of continuous improvement, whilst adhering to legislative requirements and supporting the management of the Quality Management System.
This position is a Full time opportunity per fortnight, and based out of our Maryborough office.
Required Qualification :
Working with Children Check (Blue Card);
NDIS Worker Screening Check;
Previous experience in developing and implementing a quality management system.
Qualifications (preferably Lead Auditor) and demonstrated experience in conducting internal audits and facilitating continuous improvement.
Formal qualifications in Certificate 4 in Compliance and Risk Management desired and a detailed understanding of disability legislation, work health and safety legislation.
Note: a recent graduate may be considered.
High degree of drive, initiative, motivation and outcome orientation with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
Substantial experience and expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required at this level.
Willing to take on additional qualifications are requested by the CEO.

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement roles with demonstrated ability to use quality management systems to meet legislative and regulatory accreditation standards (desired).
Demonstrated experience in leadership positions.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to effectively share information about practice and quality improvement activities
Ability to demonstrate high quality written and oral communication skills, including report and policy writing skills, briefings and presentations.
Demonstrated expertise in the use of quality tools such as benchmarking and process mapping to enable fact based decision making.
The ability to prioritise work demands, problem solve and have a flexible approach to enable effective and timely quality management activities.
A high level of computer literacy including sound skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Share Point and a working knowledge of the Internet with a proven ability to analyse information.
Intermediary experience in Excel.
Experience working in an aged care, community services, not for profit or similar organisation.
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to work in a high paced workplace, with a high level of computer skills and time management abilities.
Salary for this role is based on the Social, Community, Homes Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Social and Community Services Worker, Level 3, Pay point 1.
