Quality Systems Coordinator Play a key role in driving compliance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. VISY is a leader in packaging, manufacturing, and sustainability, and we're looking for a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our Fibre Packaging team. Based in Warwick Farm & Smithfield, this role will support the NSW manufacturing facilities by ensuring compliance with quality and food safety management systems, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining effective internal processes.
You'll be responsible for managing compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and other customer-specific requirements, ensuring our sites meet stringent quality and safety standards. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure document control, training, and internal/external audit processes are executed efficiently and meet VISY's high standards.
Role Details:
In this role, you will report to the State Technical Manager and work across multiple NSW sites. Your focus will be on managing quality and food safety systems, leading external and internal audits, and driving compliance across all manufacturing processes. You'll also provide technical expertise and training to internal teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company guidelines.
As a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, auditors, and customers, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and ensuring that VISY's Fibre Packaging division meets both customer and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do:

Manage and maintain compliance with quality and food safety standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
Lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of corrective actions.
Oversee document control and ensure systems are up to date with current protocols.
Conduct product testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with raw material and product specifications.
Collaborate with teams to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans.
Act as a subject matter expert in continuous improvement, guiding business enhancement initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
Lead Auditor qualification and hands-on experience with ISO9001, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
Strong system management and continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to lead projects.
Desirable: FMCG or corrugated board industry experience, and project management skills.
