BAM BAM Pile Driving Pty Ltd – Gladstone QLD
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor will oversee all quality assurance processes related to drilling, pile installation, mechanical installation, and module installation for BAM BAM on our projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Ideally, you're someone who… is an experienced Quality Supervisor with high-level attention to detail, who strives to exceed expectations.
A people-centric approach will be necessary in managing staff and interdepartmental relationships as well as representing BAM BAM in building strong relationships with clients.
Position Details: Full-time, ongoing
Site based allowance up to 20%
LAFHA where applicable
Hours/days: 11/3 roster plus additional leave
Where you'll be working: Based on site at Aldoga Queensland initially and then placed on one of our projects across the Country.
Main duties and responsibilities: Ensure quality standards are being followed across all disciplines in line with system tolerances, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.Lead a team of up to 10 people, including field quality inspectors and remediation crew.Coordinate quality checks on all works, create punchlists, and organize remediation works, ensuring all required documentation is in place.Work closely with site management to ensure timely handover of work areas.Assist in setting up and maintaining surveying equipment such as base, rover, and total station.Oversee GPS systems in piling rigs (create design data files, ensure connectivity and accuracy, communicate errors to the manufacturer, etc.
).Review maps, drawings, and designs provided by the client to ensure suitability for pile installation.Experience and qualifications: 2 years' experience in quality assurance within the construction industry.Experience with piling and mechanical installation works on solar farms.Basic understanding of surveying.Proficient at using Excel.Civil / Geotechnical / Mechanical Engineering degree.
