An exciting new internal job opportunity has become available for an individual who is passionate about quality and has a desire to drive continuous improvement.
The position is a Full-time permanent position with Slade Health based at our state-of-the-art Geebung site.
You will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and experience within Quality, Oncology, Antibiotics, LAF and TPN and will be responsible for ensuring products are released according to GMP standards.
This role will manage the day-to-day requirements of the release team ensuring we send high-quality products to our patients on time every time.
The standard hours of the role consist of Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4:36pm.
As the rest of the team work from 6am to 10:06pm Monday to Friday and Sunday 10am to 18:06pm, there will be some flexibility required to support the team where needed.
In this role, you'll:
Ensure final products are fit for release according to GMP standards.
Effectively manage the team on a day-to-day basis through sound leadership, guidance, and open communication.
Develop performance objectives and individual career plans and monitor performance objectives on a regular and timely basis.
Provide exceptional service to our customers by planning workflow to ensure that order dispatch times and customer service expectations are met.
Generate timetables to ensure all release and quality functions are met on a daily basis.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions and champion strict compliance with these procedures.
Participate in the investigation of nonconformances, deviations (planned and unplanned), incidents and complaints.
Participate and perform tasks associated with Risk Management, CAPA and Change controls.
Actively promote a culture of continuous improvement to increase product quality, safety, customer service and employee engagement.
Create templates/trackers/reports for measuring continuous improvement programs.
Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by communicating clear performance expectations, developing and supporting the achievement of company, site or team goals.

Who are we looking for?
You'll:
Have a relevant tertiary qualification in Science (required) and Pharmacy (desirable).
Possess a current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist in Australia (desirable but not required).
Have previous experience working in quality in a regulated industry.
Have previous experience supervising or managing a team.
Have a team-oriented attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients.
Have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.
Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Have the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals.
