We're currently looking for an Entry Level Quality Officer to form an integral part of our quality department. The Quality Officer (QO) will assist the QA Manager and staff to ensure continuous improvement and quality best-practice is consistently maintained.
The QO is responsible for ensuring that tasks attributed are conducted in an efficient and timely manner. Specific tasks include laboratory assistance, internal auditing, document control, verification and validation activities, ensuring quality compliance is maintained, and general daily QA Department functions.
Specific Responsibilities Ensure verification and calibration activities are completed as per schedule. Assist with internal audits and external audits. Updating of procedure and documentation ensuring all document control requirements are met. Using the NCR system to investigate and resolve any non-conformance issues. Ensure that GMP standards are always maintained during daily walkarounds and during GMP and Glass and Hard Plastics audits. Assist with the collection, compiling, and scanning of daily production documentation when required. Maintain COA and Food Safety Certificates. Assist with document control of procedures, work instructions, and record management, including creating and reviewing documented procedures, policies, and forms as needed. Conduct training to ensure Production Management and staff understand food safety and quality requirements. Track and record daily inspections of machines to assist in highlighting focal points. Report daily to the QA Manager areas of Quality Concern. Maintain the product hold and release system. Monitor CCP and QCP compliance to ensure it is maintained. Undertake additional tasks as directed. Ensure allergen management and product storage conditions are always maintained. Prompt and timely response to customer complaints. Monthly review of GMP, cleaning schedules, and approved suppliers. What you need to be successful for this role? Formal HACCP training preferred. Auditing experience an advantage. Experience working within a controlled document environment. Excellent numeracy, literacy, communication skills with good computer skills. Flexibility to work variable hours. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational and time management skills. Have Australian working rights.
