We are seeking an experienced Quality and Risk Manager to join the RivMed Team. Particularly we are after someone who has experience in AGPAL (General Practice), QIP or ADA (Dental) accreditation methodologies or similar. As such this position might suit a practice manager of a medical or dental surgery who has experience in accreditation. This a permanent fulltime Executive role reporting to the CEO attracting a salary in the vicinity of $120,000pa for the right candidate. This is a hands on role.The RoleThe Quality and Risk Manager is responsible for supporting a positive quality improvement culture, underpinned by effective Quality and Risk Management Frameworks. The position is the key point of contact and provides knowledge and support to the various committees within scope of this role. The position leads, advises and monitors accreditation cycles and processes, quality improvement initiatives, risk management and workplace health & safety, process and system development and protocols and guidelines across RivMed.RivMed is currently accredited under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner Standards, Quality Improvement Council Standards and will need to gain accreditation under ADA guidelines for our dental practice by 30 June 2025. The Quality and Risk Manager will also work with our Family Preservation and Out Of Home Care leaders to assist with their ongoing accreditation requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead accreditation requirements including planning, preparation, integration and implementationLead, manage and review organisation wide processes for quality improvement, risk management and workplace safetyDevelop, modify and lead the development and implementation of organisation wide policies to meet the varying requirements of organisationManage and lead the development and evaluation of quality indicatorsProvide expertise in training, supervision and support to staff in the development of knowledge and skills in quality improvement activitiesEstablish and foster relationships with staff to ensure quality is embedded within all organisational programs and activitiesTake a leadership role in risk management assisting with the development, enhancement and implementation of appropriate risk management policies, procedures and systemsPromote understanding of risk management, including delivery of risk management training, as appropriateImplementing strategies developed by management and Risk Committee to manage and reduce risk across the organisationWho we areRiverina Medical and Dental Aboriginal Corporation (RivMed) is a long-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation in the heart of Wiradjuri Country.RivMed work to effect change in the most marginalized and vulnerable people in our community.
