About the opportunity You'll be contributing to the success of Project EnergyConnect (PEC) which is an energy infrastructure project that will enable greater sharing of electricity between NSW, Victoria and South Australia for the first time.
Reporting to the Network Interface & Completions Manager, you will be responsible for overall quality management for PEC:
Quality Management:Liaise with functional teams to establish necessary quality processes to ensure the project is set up and implemented for success.Be available as the main point of contact for the project team on quality matters and ensure alignment of internal expectations and external contractual arrangements with the head contractor.Lead coordination activities to ensure cross-functional quality aspects are successfully implemented and managed across the project.Quality Assurance:Perform the role of first line assurance activities in the Three Lines of Defence model.Lead and undertake regular direct assurance and audit activities covering the broad spectrum of project functional streams.Interface with the Project Governance and Assurance Team in relation to assurance activities.Project Governance:Ensure correct implementation of project governance structures, management plans and processes in alignment with other Major Projects and the wider organisation.A thorough understanding and relevant experience in project governance is required.About you You will be an experienced Quality Manager who has:
Experience working in an infrastructure and/or energy related industry.Excellent commercial acumen and well-developed communications skills.Experience in preparing and delivering formal reports and presentations to executive internal and external stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.Experience in operating within a formal structured project governance framework.Extensive experience in project/portfolio assurance and reporting.Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, such as engineering or project management.Ability to travel to project sites.Recognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
