This includes implementation, management and evaluation of accreditation programs, clinical governance, policy and procedure development, project management and quality improvement activities in consultation with the BMDH Executive team.The Manager is expected to actively lead and support quality and safety and process improvement including issues analysis, policy development, and evidence-based decision making and clinical risk management.The Manager supports lead committees that are accountable and responsible for driving improvements in patient safety working in close liaison with the WSLHD Clinical Governance Unit to progress District wide initiatives and improve quality.The Manager will liaise with the BMDH Quality Council, Facility Leads for National Standards, Service Managers and Heads of Departments to lead the preparation and readiness for the accreditation program at BMDH.
