Melbourne Private Hospital has provided a range of acute medical and surgical healthcare services to our community for over 20 years. We are a 122-bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.
As a Quality Manager your responsibilities will include: Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and to promote risk management to support the strategic directionBe responsible for and lead short notice accreditationBuild and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholdersResponsible and lead quality and clinical Governance outcomesEnsuring the hospital operates in accordance with applicable standards and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as striving for continuous improvementThe coordination and implementation of the infection control program to ensure high quality patient care and staff safety in infection controlEnsuring a safe practice and working environment for staffAdapt to operational requirementsMinimum Requirements: Authority to Work in AustraliaWorking with Children checkBachelor of Nursing or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRACompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedHealthscope, where career means more!
