With a strong focus on innovation and outstanding customer service, Frosty Boy is looking for a Food Technologist with a Quality specialisation to join our team.
About the role The ideal candidate will possess initiative, enthusiasm, come with excellent quality systems knowledge in food manufacturing and an eagerness to add value within the company.
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-first environment.
This Quality Manager role is a hands-on role; planning and leading all quality responsibilities across the business.
The Quality Manager will have experience in the fields of quality and food safety, HACCP and quality certification, risk assessment, internal/external auditing, market access and food safety regulations
Including:
Ensure continued compliance to HACCP, GMP, SQF, WSEP, Religious and other certifications, and all legislative and regulatory requirements Develop, review and implement quality documentation, based on regulatory and customer requirements Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement changes to improve product quality, processes and systems Lead and develop the team of QA and QC Technicians Provide support to system-based ESG initiatives including SEDEX, RFA Your background and experience: Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline Hold HACCP & Lead/Internal Auditor and SQF Practitioner Qualifications Significant experience in a decision-making Quality role in food or beverage manufacturing Excellent problem-solving skills, with in-depth understanding of root-cause analysis and CAR management Strong stakeholder management skills Experience in developing staff capability and team culture Strong computer literacy, familiarity with ERP systems desirable Strong time management and organisational skills Private transport As the successful candidate, you will enjoy working in a growing organisation, making a direct and positive difference, in a company committed to the delivery of quality products.
