Head of Quality Assurance & Risk - IntoWork AustraliaAbout IntoWorkFounded in 1983, IntoWork Australia is a not-for-profit registered charity providing services as the leading provider of Employment, Skills & Education, and Support services.As a trusted partner, IntoWork collaborates with Commonwealth, State, and Local governments to deliver contracted services.
We also provide other services directly to employers, industries, and individuals on a fee-for-service basis.Everything we do, including our range of tailored pathways for individuals and workforce solutions for employers, is underpinned by our vision - 'Vibrant Futures' - for our staff, service users and business clients.The RoleAs the Head of QAR, you will lead and implement a systematic approach to corporate governance, risk management and policy, working across all IntoWork businesses to implement an integrated quality framework.
You will also be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team.Key Responsibilities include:Developing and delivering a compliance framework to meet Government contracted services requirements.Act as point of contact on quality and workplace health and safety matters as required (e.g.
WHS, feedback and incident reporting), coordinate nonconformity and corrective actions.Lead and coordinate the process towards achievement and maintaining of ISO 9001 accreditation along with other standards relevant to support high quality and safe and effective service delivery.Support the Group Executives and the Board with the preparation of reports and documentation.Working closely with all parts of the organisation to ensure that the organisation meets accreditation/licensing requirements and is prepared for external accreditation/licensing reviews and audits.Candidate CriteriaProven track record in leading, implementing and managing quality, safety and risk management programs at the senior management level.Demonstrated experience promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a similar role supporting delivery and compliance across contracted Australian Government services (Employment Services and/or Australian Apprenticeship Support Services is highly regarded)Proven ability to drive all facets of a QMS at all levels of an organisation.Experience in managing accreditation/review processes.Proven record of accomplishment in building teams and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.Relevant tertiary qualification(s).The successful candidate will be required to undergo a number of relevant background checks including references, police check, and a Working with Children check.Next StepsTo be considered for this opportunity, please submit your CV along with a cover letter at your earliest convenience.
