About the role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Quality Manager ANZ to join Webforge Locker subsidiary based in Dandenong on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations APAC, the objective of this role is to lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure product reliability and compliance with AS/NZS ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
Furthermore, this role will lead and drive continuous quality improvement, oversee on-site quality initiatives related to custom fabrication, and manage the manufacture of steel equipment.

How will you contribute: Ensure compliance with the AS/NZS ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard and report on its performance to Senior Management for review and to drive continuous improvement of the management systems.Provide timely quality reports to the Senior Director of Operations APAC and Site Managers.Assist all Site Management Representatives for Safety and Quality in reviewing State Government Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice to ensure that changes are reflected in Company Policies, Procedures, and associated processes.Oversee the product manufacturing process to ensure quality.Ensure the quality management system meets business and certification needs by setting up a review mechanism to highlight critical concerns to the management team.Develop, implement, and manage KPIs to measure quality and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.Provide technical assistance and training in quality techniques and services.Manage the QC Inspectors, providing them with tools, instructions, and guidance to maintain quality at the shop level, and ensure they are adequately trained and developed.Collaborate with management to identify and pursue opportunities for additional certifications.Lead quality initiatives to ensure that the Company achieves its goals.Assist the procurement department in selecting and evaluating suppliers.What you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or Engineering.Preferred Manufacturing background.Certificate IV Training and Assessment & Environmental Management (desirable).Ensure certification to ISO9001 is maintained.Ability to use Microsoft suite, MS Project, SolidWorks, and ERP manufacturing software.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner with all levels of the business.Able to handle cross-department communication effectively.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of calibration and ability to read blueprints, proficient with precision measuring tools.Why Join Valmont?
