We are an Australian civil and electrical construction business that delivers services to a diverse range of industries including the private and public sector, state and federal governments across Australia.We are self-performers who have been doing this for more than forty years and take immense pride in the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive remuneration, including Site upliftSite allowance for anyMetro projects - spend more time at homeLong-term permanent employment with career growth and progressionDiscounted Private Health – HBF & MedibankAnnual FLU Vac'sNovated Lease via PaywiseService RecognitionEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your familyAlignment to a company with a sustainable growth strategy within infrastructure and transport in NSW ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent full-time position based in Sydney, NSW.We have a great opportunity for a Quality Manager or ambitious Quality Lead to manage Ertech's project-based quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements on the projects in NSW.As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of two high profile infrastructure projects with combined project values exceeding $200m.Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Implement the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met.Ensure that the project conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements.Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery.Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement.Provide support to delivery teams (engineers, supervisors, surveyors) in meeting contractual requirements in relation to Quality ManagementEnsure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality.Provide technical quality expertise for the project.Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality.Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with the project team.Perform all duties in accordance with Ertech policies, processes, systems and procedureABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Minimum 5 years of experience in the Civil Construction industry with at least 2 years in a similar roleStrong familiarity with TfNSW Quality Management requirementsExperience in developing and managing project QA management systems.Degree qualified civil engineerOUR CULTUREAt Ertech, our people are fundamental to our success.
