As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of an experienced and dedicated quality team and will report directly to the Quality Team Leader.
You will perform quality inspection checks on washed and graded potatoes and onions to ensure that our produce is in specification and approved for supply to our customers.
You will provide your feedback to the farm management team on the quality of the produce.
Your duties will include: Inspecting all packed produce in accordance with QC procedures to ensure customer specifications are met.Providing feedback to farm management regarding quality.Performing random checks of grading integrity, waste, coding, and traceability to ensure products meet specifications.Accurately entering inspection data into automated quality software products and escalating non-conformances.Performing outwards and inwards goods assessments prior to loading.The following experience will be highly regarded: Experience in a quality position within a food processing environment.Experience in the fresh produce industry.The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail with proven experience in following and understanding quality systems and procedures.
You will be detailed and meticulous in examining all aspects of packed products and possess the assertiveness to escalate quality issues.
