Tonbridge (own transport essential due to location)
Hybrid working after initial training – 3 days in the office with 2 from home

Working as a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components within a specific category meet specifications, industry regulations and the company's high standards before they are approved as new products.

Duties: Physical inspection of automotive components and sub-assemblies Carrying out a range of validation testing including use of measurement tools Reading, understanding and interpreting technical drawings, information and specifications Speaking with various stakeholders including suppliers and internal teams Accurately recording and analysing gathered information before compiling reports on a daily basis Offering support to audit process as required Minimum Requirements: Hold an Engineering qualification, or be qualified through experience within a related role with good GCSEs Be technically minded, with the ability to read technical drawings Have report writing experience Be able to use measurement tools Have a process driven mindset, with the ability to accurately record information even when carrying out repetitive tasks Have great communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience within automotive manufacturing Studied to degree level previously An interest in the automotive sector Immediate availability This company is growing, and has further plans for expansion, which means more opportunities!
