About the position
The Quality Control / Welding Inspector is responsible for critical quality control and welding inspections aspects of a large tank construction project under the guidance of experienced and senior project and quality management teams. This project is located in WA's Pilbara region and is expected to take approximately 12 months.

To best support your growth and ours, we're looking for candidates who possess:
IWS International Welding specialist or AS1796 Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role (QA/QC Inspection) Tank industry experience Discipline trade background or tertiary qualified in engineering. Understanding of Australian and international manufacturing Standards (AS/NZS, ASME, API etc.) Excellent computer literacy skills covering the input and retrieval of data Experience in development of Weld Procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Internal Auditor Qualified (preferred, not essential) Coating Inspection (NACE / ACA) (preferred, not essential) This position requires a current National Police Check (no more than 3 months old), a current driver's licence, and evidence of the right to work in Australia. Candidates must be currently residing in Australia to be considered for this position. A pre-employment medical will be required.
