Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeWe are recruiting for a passionate Quality Control Supervisor to join us in leading our technical service center in Seven Hills Sydney. Join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our company.Key Responsibilities:Manage processes and resources for quality management of raw materials and finished goods.Review, develop, and implement Inspection and Test Plans for materials received and finished goods.Review test results for raw material and finished goods for compliance against specification.Investigate non-compliances and implement corrective actions.Manage expired/dysfunctional materials.Support the selection of new raw materials and ensure certificates of analysis/conformance are provided by suppliers.Develop and maintain Australian Raw Material Specifications (ARMS) documentation and Product Manufacturing Requirements (PMR).Develop and report on key performance indicators related to quality and consistency.Evaluate materials proposed for re-work and design/manage suitable re-work plans.Support the launch of new products by ensuring all quality-related items are implemented.Manage the quality control of MBS and other third-party manufactured products.Ensure raw materials and products are tested in accordance with relevant standards.Coordinate sample analysis with external laboratories.Assist with laboratory technician tasks as directed by management.Manage processes and resources to ensure optimum operation of the laboratory.Manage the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.Support the selection and introduction of new laboratory equipment or methods.Identify and actively manage risks affecting day-to-day tasks.Requirements:A Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Material Science or Chemical Engineering, or extensive experience in a similar industry/environment.Minimum 5 years' experience in a construction materials testing environment and laboratory supervisory know-how.Strong knowledge of technical quality processes.Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Quality Control Supervisor?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?
