APG Workforce are currently seeking a full-time experienced Quality Control Officer who has FMCG experience within the Elizabeth South Workforce are currently seeking a full-time experienced Quality Control Officer who has FMCG experience within the Elizabeth South RoleFull Time position $52,000k (negotiable for candidate) + Super + afternoon and night shift loadings when/if applicable This is a rotating roster position of Day (6am-8am starts), Afternoon (2pm-10pm) & Night (10pm-6am)Responsibilities:Preparing Quality Control (QC) documents for production and conducting QC testingAssist the Technical Manager with product monitoring assessmentsMaintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.Perform QC duties as directed by the Technical Manager.Conduct all pre-production start-up checks, complete and document all quality checks undertaken prior to starting the production line.Conduct all scheduled QC checks throughout the day and record on the appropriate formConduct Daily Sanitation Checks, report on and initiate corrective action where necessary.Liaise with Production Staff as necessary on quality issues.Immediately report any quality and food safety issues to the Technical Manager.Check incoming goods and record all details on the appropriate the Product Hold Register and NCR/CAR Register, ensuring product hold and product release details are promptly recorded and communicated Conduct GMP checks as required and assist in maintaining and improving GMP proceduresConduct checks on the Pest control Program as necessary.System Maintenance What We Are Looking ForYour demonstrated ability to identify potential hazards or non-conformance across the scope of food manufacturing activities.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work effectively under tight deadlines.Sound knowledge and understanding of technical aspects within food processing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and computer skills.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSFull unlimited Australian Work Rights Candidates must be able to rotate shifts between Day/Afternoon/Night shift Car & drivers License Maybe required to temporarily change shift times to assist with leave absences to ensure quality is maintained across all shifts.#J-18808-Ljbffr
