Collaborating across teams, you will help create a safe, high-quality, and culturally appropriate service environment.Further DetailsStarting December 2024 or January 2025Competitive salary package with attractive benefitsFull-time positionLocated in regional NSWKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain compliance with statutory regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.Collaborate with managers to uphold quality and safety standards in systems and processes.Oversee the organisation's patient management systems, including Communicare, and ensure proper training and system updates.Identify and document areas requiring process improvement to ensure ongoing compliance.Conduct internal and external audits, including preparation for accreditation cycles.Develop and maintain incident registers and monitor trends for continuous improvement.Provide training, consultation, and guidance to staff on regulatory and compliance matters.Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulatory changes affecting the health industry.Essential Selection CriteriaTertiary qualifications in Nursing, registered with AHPRA.Diploma/Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Compliance and Risk Management, or Quality Auditing (or 5+ years of relevant health service industry experience).Proven experience managing accreditation processes in the health sector.High-level computer literacy and ability to adapt to various systems.Current driver's licence (minimum Class C).National Crime Check within the past 12 months.Current Working with Children's Check.Must have full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).Desirable CriteriaPostgraduate qualifications such as MBA or Law (viewed favourably).Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS4801, and RACGP accreditation standards.Familiarity with Aboriginal communities and cultural safety principles.Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.How to ApplyPlease click 'Apply Now'.
