Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this integral role works closely with the Product team to ensure that each garment is created to the design specifications and quality standards of the Brand.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring high quality standards are metWorking with the Product Team to understand and interpret styling instructionsChair fit sessions ensuring buyers and QA comments are collated for the supplierProviding technical advice on the suitability of styling and fabricsLiaising with offshore and local suppliersReceiving, analysing, and approving fabric reports, graded specs, and the appropriate care labelling from suppliersGiving clear and detailed reports, direction, and feedback to suppliersFiling and updating relevant computer dataSkills & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years experience as a Garment Technologist.Multi-product experience is required.A sound knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, garment grading, and a full understanding of the fit process.Previous experience with a Curve range is advantageous.Experience in fabric testing and understanding of garment construction & technology.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective time management and prioritisation skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our established and highly successful team.
