About the Role: Our client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands.
With sites based across Australia, their Brisbane site is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist , for a casual ongoing role with full time hours, Monday-Friday.
Reporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to): Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits by maintaining compliance to site, national and customer Quality & Food Safety requirements.
Customer compliant investigation, reporting and implementing corrective actions.
Conducting laboratory testing and calibration of laboratory equipment, including monitoring of raw material receivals and ingredients Monitoring and testing of the water treatment facility Participate in continuous improvement projects Assist with identification of problems and non-conformances within the manufacturing process Skills & Experience: To be considered for this position, applicants will require: A Degree in a Science discipline (preferably Food Science) Experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food manufacturing/ FMCG environment is desirable Effective Project Management skills A demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Able to commence work immediately A positive can-do attitude Your own reliable vehicle (this company is not located near public transport) Apply!
