Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor/AdministratorMoec Pty Ltd is a growing construction contractor that offers pipeline construction and gas gathering services to our clients in the Mining and Oil & Gas Industries in the Surat and Bowen Basin and other sites across Australia. We are dedicated to achieving high standards of work with a focus on health, safety, environment, and quality.We are looking for a qualified Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor/Administrator with Gas Gathering, Piping, or Buried Services Experience to work on our HDPE Gas Gathering Project in the Surat Basin. This includes Civil, Welding, Live Excavations, Tie-ins, Testing, and Commissioning. Potentially 2-3 years of consistent work.In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our on-site project crew with but not limited to:Quality System Champion: Implement and administer the company's Quality Assurance (QA) system onsite, including procedures and work practices. This ensures consistent, high-quality construction throughout all projects.Compliance Master: Oversee compliance with relevant legislative requirements, including QA procedures and the AS/NZS ISO 9001 standard. Upholding these standards guarantees our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.Continuous Improvement Champion: Contribute to developing the company's operating procedures within the framework of ISO 9001. This involves a continuous improvement process, ensuring our systems are always evolving to meet the highest standards.Internal Audit Expert: Plan and conduct internal onsite audits of the QA systems. Analyse findings, prepare comprehensive audit reports and distribute them to relevant personnel to ensure continuous improvement.Non-Conformance Investigator: Investigate any instances of non-conformance with the company's QA systems. Identify the root cause of issues, propose corrective actions, and implement preventive measures to prevent future occurrences.To be successful, you'll need:Technical Skills:Minimum completion of Diploma of Quality Auditing / Internal Auditor Qualification in either Safety (AS/NZS 4801) or Quality (ISO AS/NZS 9001:2015) would be highly desirable, orA strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.Previous experience (5 years) in a systems management role in the construction industry or,Mechanical or Electrical Degree/Diploma/Trade qualification or other relevant training with significant exposure to construction and civil processes.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to develop and maintain clear, concise documentation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various departments.A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.Experience in the Mining or Gas Gathering sector.Additional requirements:A current driver's license and white card.Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.Availability to start work in the next 2-4 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical.Roster: 18 days on, 10 days off (paid travel on day 1 and day 10 of RnR).
