As we move into a new and exciting stage in the Country Chef story there's one ingredient we cannot do without … our fantastic people!About This OpportunityThe Quality department at The Country Chef Bakery Co. is responsible for leading a food safety culture by working collaboratively with the operations team and supporting them with problem solving.The Quality Assurance (QA) & Compliance Manager supports the business by driving the implementation, communication and understanding among production personnel regarding quality, food safety and compliance requirements. This will be achieved through observation, training, testing, and mentoring, among others.Main responsibilities will be:Conduct and report on routine audits, inspections and reviews as required.Conduct regular Root Cause Analysis on issues found and carry out Corrective Actions.Provide internal training to new and existing staff as required.Assist in maintaining site HACCP Program, Quality Management System and Document Control System.Undertake investigations of customer complaints.Assist in site compliance requirements and validation/verification activities.Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive, action-focused, improvement culture in line with company values.Demonstrate strong understanding of current systems and processes.Build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders by always demonstrating the company Values.Take responsibility for learning and development to grow expertise in current systems and processes.About YouWe are looking for candidates with a continuous improvement mindset, who possess the following criteria:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Applied Science (Food Science), or other similar fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Management role within the FMCG industryInternal and external Auditor qualifications are a mustExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsBe a champion for quality and food safety cultureHigh level of initiative and motivationWhy Join UsFull time permanent position with an established national business on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.Take home up to two items of product a day, on us!Personal and professional growth and development.A day off on your birthday.Free parking.Salary structure to suit experience.If this sounds like you – APPLY NOW!We foster an inclusive equal employment opportunity culture, celebrating diversity in all its hues.
