At SunPork we provide:Staff discounts on a range of productsEmployee Wellbeing Benefits including discounts to 400+ retailersLearning and development opportunitiesThe opportunityThis is a great opportunity for you to join a well-known, Australian primary processor and utilise your strong quality background for a food production business leader.This is an opportunity to help drive the Sunpork values and quality practices across production.Reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator, the purpose of this role is to monitor and provide ongoing support of the Company Quality Assurance Systems through partnering with the production team to ensure that we are sending the best possible product to the customer, every day.Key accountabilities include:Monitor personal, operational hygiene and product integrity as a matter or priority. When issues are identified, utilise the Recognise, Rectify, Report method.Actively participate in developing staff understanding of food safety and related procedures and protocols, in the course of daily duties.Conduct product testing and environmental sampling as per procedures and as instructed by the Group Quality Systems Manager or Quality Coordinator. Food Safety issues must be reported immediately to relevant supervisors and the QA Coordinator.Liaise with the Group Quality Assurance Coordinator, Department managers and supervisors on quality issues.Conduct internal audits, bag audits, GMP audits as instructed by the Group Quality Systems Manager or QA Coordinator.Apply and monitor corrective and preventative actions as instructed by the Group Quality Systems Manager or QA Coordinator, report and document accordingly.Exercise good communication and consultation practices daily within the QA team, and with other teams as required, including changeover notes, correct reporting, collection and compiling facts, and documentation.Perform documentation tasks such as filing, computer data entry, electronic reporting, and tracebacks as required by the Group Quality Systems Manager or QA Coordinator.What we're looking forSwickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team.
