About the Company Our client is a global leader in the production and distribution of industrial minerals for a variety of industries such as construction, packaging, food, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.
They are on the hunt for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to oversee and maintain food safety and quality, as well as general industrial quality assurance across Australasia.
This pivotal role spans various functions with the primary goal to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations while supporting the organisation through monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
This role will require site visits across Australia.
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with food and industrial quality and safety standards Assist with process mapping and implementation of plans Conduct audits and inspections for quality assurance Manage document control and record accuracy Monitor key metrics like customer complaints and product quality Provide training and reports on quality standards to staff Support customer service with accurate product info and traceability Ensure regulatory compliance for safety data sheets and specifications Champion sustainability initiatives in health, safety, and the environment Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Food Management, or Industrial Chemicals Experience in quality management, ideally in industrial chemicals or food Knowledge of quality measures and relevant laws is a plus Familiarity with standards like ISO 9001, FAMI-QS, and FSSC is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organisation and planning skills; SAP experience is a bonus Keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset If you are ready to join a global powerhouse in the world of industrial minerals, please apply today.
