Based on the beautiful Central Coast - NSW, our leading pet food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join their team.
This role will be responsible for leading the improvement and management of the site's compliance initiative, quality & food safety standards.
Our client manufactures dry and wet pet food and is fast-growing and innovative when it comes to using the freshest ingredients for our 4-legged friends.

Responsibilities include:Maintain and monitor Quality Assurance objectives and activitiesDesign & implement the Quality & Food Safety Strategy to support the delivery of the broader business objectives & goalsDevelop, implement, maintain, and enhance the Quality Assurance System and documentationLead execution, design, implementation, improvement & management of the site's hygiene, sanitation & GMP ProgramsReview and authorise daily records of process Critical Control PointsConduct statistical analysis of process records and prepare reports and summaryLiaise with customers, auditors, and external parties as requiredProvide training, direction, support, and resourcesEnsure safe work procedures and responsibility for the OH&S of employees reporting to this positionInvestigate and respond to customer complaintsBe an active member of the Site Management Team ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operationsAbout you:Excellent communication and influencing skills along with high-level interpersonal skills and sound judgmentAbility to demonstrate leadership capabilities in terms of negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder managementSound ability to lead a food manufacturing site toward quality improvementPrior experience in leading audits preparation, maintenance, and improvement initiativesExcellent time management skillsMindset for driving change through education, coaching, guiding, and influencingIdeally, you will have at least 3 years + of experience working in an FMCG food manufacturing environment along with HACCP and SQF experience + a Bachelor of Food Science, Food Technology, or an equivalent or a related discipline.
