In operation since 1981, NCVER is now embarking on a transformation to modernise its data collection methodology as part of the VET Data Streamlining project, designed to support the Commonwealth government's National Skills Agreement. This transformation means that it is an exciting time to join NCVER as it prepares for the next phase of its evolution as the custodian of national VET data.
About the role We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to work as part of a small team responsible for the quality and integrity of national VET activity data being submitted in the first steps of the NCVER data value chain. The position will be responsible for providing business support and subject matter expertise on the national VET data collections to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the quarterly data quality review process.
About you Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster productive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality data-related advice and services.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time appropriately, prioritise workloads, and resolve conflicts with constructive approach.Experience with data quality assurance through analysis, identification of relevant insights, and recommendation of appropriate action including awareness of any impact on downstream business areas or stakeholders.Knowledge of data quality assurance procedures, policies and frameworks.
